Is the hot sun burning you from inside out making you feel thirsty, try the following refreshing and easy to make recipes of coffee cocktails at home.

 

1.  Coco Moon
The cold brew gives you a dose of desperately needed caffeine, while the coconut water revitalizes you with antioxidants. Take that, Monday mornings!

Here’s what you’ll need:

 

 

  1. Ice
  2.  Mint (optional, but highly recommended)
  3. 100 ml coconut water
  4. 50 ml cold brew – try using Kenyan beans, such as Kiganjo, for a bright, fruity flavor.

2.  RumChata

Spike your coffee with RumChata liqueur for a delicious, Caribbean-inspired treat!

To make,

  1. Fill a tall glass ⅔ full with ice.
  2. Add 2 ounces of RumChata(available at our Wines & Spirits locations)
  3. top with cooled brewed coffee.
  4. Stir to mix and serve.

3. Iced Espresso Marvo

Directions:

    1. Pour espresso over ice in a tall glass.
    2. Fill the remainder of the glass with mineral water.
    3. Sweeten as and if you like.
    4. Give a quick stir and serve.

4. Vietnamese Iced Coffee

    1. Brew espresso via your method of choice.
    2. Serve in a 3 oz glass over an ice cube, then drizzle in the sweetened condensed milk.

5. Coconut Horchata Iced Coffee

INGREDIENTS:

  1. 4 ounces brewed coffee
  2. 4 ounces coconut horchata
  3. ice

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Place the ice in a heat-safe vessel.
  2. Brew the coffee over ice.
  3. Top with coconut horchata.
  4. Sweeten to taste.
