Home Espresso Machines:

  1. Wipe Down Counter Area.
  2. Wipe Down the Espresso Machine.
  3. Wipe Down, Espresso Grinder.
  4. Remove drip tray and clean well.

Note: Each  manufacturer has unique cleaning requirements. Refer to Your owner’s manual for instructions. The cleaning and maintanence procedures are relatively simple when compared to commercial machines.

Commercial Machines:

  1. Wipe Down Counter Area.
  2. Wipe Down the Espresso Machine.
  3. Wipe Down, Espresso Grinder.
  4. Remove drip tray and clean well.
  5. Place 1/2 teaspoon coffee oil remover such as PuroCaf into drain tray and back flush with hot water.
  6. check for water leaks around the drain hose and drain tray.
  7. Remove showerhead screen, screw and any other parts from the group. Place loose items in a metal basket and soak in a sink filled with hot water and two tablespoons of coffee detergent. Soak overnight. Scrub with a brush. rinse in hot hater then in cold water.
  8. Remove metal filter baskets from hand filters. Use one hand filter with the blank filter and place 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of coffee detergent in the filter. Place hand into the group. Backflush should take 30 sec. Repeats four or five times until water becomes clear. Do each group.
  9. clean and rinse dump box.
  10. Clean plastic hopper and grinder with a soft and moist bar towel. Clean doser with soft brush.
